Work with Irina :: Mentoring

Mentoring offers input, knowledge sharing and advice based on extensive experience in specific areas. My mentoring is for anyone who wants to grow their professional development, improve their communication, and for coaches interested in expanding their growth.

Mentoring is a practice in which a more experienced person guides and supports someone less experienced, helping them grow personally or professionally. The mentor shares knowledge, advice, and insights to help the mentee navigate challenges, build skills, and reach their goals. It’s important to me to differentiate mentoring and coaching. Both are valuable and can serve our growth, and they are very different in nature.

My value of growth guides my work as a mentor. I offer mentoring in two main areas:

  • Professional growth
  • Growth as a coach

I have coached hundreds of clients from all over the world with different backgrounds, different professional profiles and levels of experience. I welcome everyone who is willing to look deeper and connect with the courage to be with what is and take informed and inspired action. A large part of my corporate practice focused on coaching managers and executives, I have also always welcomed clients at earlier stages of their careers as well as anyone who is open to exploring what’s possible for them and is committed to their growth.

Professional Growth mentoring

Professional growth mentoring focuses on supporting an individual with guidance and hands-on approach from my own experience of growth. I have 20+ years of experience in technology and the non-profit sectors and have gone through many transitions and progressions throughout this time. I moved countries, changed areas of work, went through the ladder of career progression, and stepped into changing my professional identity guided by my purpose and aspirations. The transition from a senior leadership position in a global function into becoming a leading coach was a particular turning point in my growth that I learned a great deal from. If you want to find out more about my professional growth, visit my LinkedIn profile and/or reach out to me (link to Contact me page).

Mentoring for coaches

My path as a coach started 9 years ago. I was curious what coaching was about after my first experience as a coachee that felt so effective and empowering. One step led to another, and fast forward I’ve grown immensely into being a certified leading coach in individual, relationship, and team coaching. It sounds easy and it wasn’t always a linear and smooth process. Mentoring was a key supporting pillar in my growth as a coach and it gives me immense joy to be able to give it to other coaches now. I have mentored coaches with a focus on a specific goal (e.g. reaching a new certification level) and also in more general terms around growth edges and next steps in their development.
